Anyone else think this is rediculous. I am with Progressive. 2 vehicles a GrandAm (red) liability only, and my 07 duramax RC LB wt 4x4 (white) full coverage.

I am 24yo white male BTW and live in the country. Not that it matters but maybe.

DISCOUNT: Paid in Full, 5 years accident free (never had an accident of any kind) multi-car and continuous insurance: gold.

Grand Total for 6 months: $882.00 :eek:hgeez:

Thats about exactly what i pay. 24yo 01 RC F150 and 02 RC DMAX full coverage on both though.

When i bought my duramax 4 years ago it was about 1200 every six months for the one truck. So I'm pretty happy.

I pay 553/mnth. Its about the cheapest rate I can find. That is for full coverage on my 04 chevy. No accidents.

I looked around a while back and the next best I could find is about 800/mnth.

Guy I live with has smashed a few vehicles and he is up to about 1000/mnth.

I pay about $113 a month full coverage. No accidents. No record for AT LEAST the last 5 years. was more than that. and I'm 34 now. Mine went up when I turned 25 by almost $60. I consider myself lucky now that it has finally started to go down little by little.

.....and here I thought $150/mo for two vehicles and a trailer was a lot. Tell you what...I am NOT looking forward to 3 years from now, when my son gets his license. He wants a DMax, too. I sure hope insurance companies dont start considering Dmaxs to be high-perf vehicles.

Wes, what the hell have you been doing?

I'm at $520/6months for an 08 dmax with Farm Bureau. I think marriage drops it 20%, then you get the multi car discount of 10% and if you buy a house it drops another 20%. All depends on your driving record, credit, etc.
