Someone said that this can be done on an 01-05? I have an 05 thats pretty well stock but I really like how much that cleans it up and I think it would be worth doing. Anyone do it on an LLY?

You can do all the classics, and I think the lmm would be the same. 01-05 would look the cleanest because the entry into the radiator is straight. Verus lbz and lmm is clocked about 45* toward the center for the engine. The hose is prebent for a straight fitting.

So the hose that people have been cutting to fit the LBZ should in theory fit perfect in an 01-05

Is everyone using an OEM hose or has anyone tried to cross reference it with let's say a gates hose? The OEM one is kinda pricey. Just wondering if an aftermarket would fit worse or better.

The stock oil fill (atleast the lbz-lmm) will not work. They are longer, maybe the lly will work, don't know. But I used a van oil fill. Only thing I don't care for is how thin the tube is. Takes a while to fill with oil.
