Be careful, sometimes the manual has mistakes in rounding during the metric conversion and sometimes just plain bad information. Never hurts to ask for confirmation from those in the community who have experience.

I've had more than one dealership screw things up following what the manual says, and then call us for help. :(

x2. One of the first things that comes to mind is the "piston oil squirter opening pressure". Mat (nwpadmax) tested this years ago and found that the squirters actually open way below "29psi". (which is GM spec in the service manual)

I still get calls from people that think the LBZ piston pins are larger in outside diameter, because of improper info published by some GM desk jockey.

FYI, LBZ/LMM pins are the same diameter but longer by about 1/8 inch.

What are your valve springs rates?

1.600 set up and .500 lift psi, seat psi and over the nose.

Coil bind?
