What valve spring compressors do y'all use? I'd like to get one like a cummins style that you can use with the heads on. But I'd settle for a nice heads off compressor. Didn't know which brands or size to look at

I use a 24 valve Cummins 4 spring compressor and made an adapter to bolt it in place of the injector. I use it with the head on and the piston at TDC.

Like the injector and valve cover bolt hole? Or did you have to use the rocker bolt too? That could be an idea use flat bar with a stud on it. But I think there 6mm holes for the cover that would sketchy in think with big springs??

I made a plate that bolted in the injector hold down bolt hole and the center valve cover bolt hole on the opposite side of the injector hole that had a fully threaded bolt welded to it.

Alright that's what I thought. Just wasnt sure how well that little cover bolt hole would hold up to cranking down 4 100+pound seat springs

i just use the goodson light and heavy duty compressors. Most of my stuff is goodson, leak down tester, rod heater, ring compressor. They do the job pretty well and have held up great.

I just used my new Tork Technology Spring Compressor kit and I am super impressed by the value. They make a bunch of neat Cummins stuff too, but this tool caught my eye one day and I had to get it and just see for myself how fast it can be. Same principle as Josh's adapted cummins tool.

I built one pretty easy to build, basically copied the old ones.
