When the wife got tired of gettting the sheeet scared out of her i went to Home Depot. Go to the hardware section and find a black roll of velcro tape, IIRC it was about 10' long.
Cut 2 pieces about 24" long, eye ball it. Open up the center console, look to the left and right sides where the hinge mounts. Wrap the velcro around at that point over the bottom of the opened lap top and "suck it up" tight with the velcro. I have a space between the top and bottom of my laptop when opened allowing the velcro to slip through, yet hold the bottom in place. Essentially you are strapping the bottom "fold" of the laptop to the center console lid.
Voila! unless you get real wild it'll stay for 0-100 MPH stuff, if you have dips (SoCal intersections) in the road and catch air... the laptop doesn't sit flat on the console lid, put a thin towel under it and it takes up the slack in the uneven surface.
If you had a BANKS PDA mount on the dash it may work well for a holder in the near future.....
Sorry no pict's truck not here
