Have 7.5.5 b86 installed. V2 firmware says on FlashScan programmer says boot block version 2.04.10 and firmware is 2.04.72. I've directed the programmer to the ffl file and that is the latest. How do I get the 2.06.08 which is supposed to be the most current? I loaded the only ffw file there was in V7.5 FSProg_V2_4_72.ffw which is obviously the version I have. There are no other FFW files and I thought that when I updated to Build 86 it would have the 2.06.72 file included. Guess not. How do I get 2.06.72

Yes, I have build 86. Prior to this I did not have efi installed, so there was/is no older version on my computer. I just did a fresh install of 7.5.5 build 86. When I open efi live programer to update the V2 firmware, the only file to update is V7.5 FSProg_V2_4_72.ffw

A bit of a pita, but love a company that supports their products with updates unlike GPS, cameras, and all the other electronics I have.

I'm glad it's all sorted.

One of the difficulties with development is that it's hard to finalise the development and keep the customer base happy at the same time who are waiting impaitently on new features. With all the different instructions for updating firmware/bootblocks depending on which versions you currently have we understand that it's not ideal. Sometimes it's chicken and egg stuff - you have to release something to get feedback and improve....

With BBF, we are spending significantly more time on making sure the structure is 90% finalised to minimise the update/upgrade issues. The flip side is that it takes longer before users get it into their hands.

Cheers
