LML USB iPod Connection stopped working

Worked fine since new...used for 8 mo. Stopped working the other day. Truck can see the ipod..can chg songs...just no sound. Changrd cable and put iPod on an iHome device and music plays thru interface. Any ideas? Have appt at dealer next Wed...am thinking warranty replacement.

Found one bulletin involving Apple products. States to make sure your Ipod is at it's most current update.

Figured it out! Well, figured out how to fix it. I still don't know what caused it. I used my ipod on an iHome device to confirm the 30 pin connection worked and it did. Still didn't work with the cable in the truck so I thought my iPod was OK and the USB interface was bad in the truck. Turned out my ipod was bad. Used my daughter's iPod and it worked! My son suggested connecting to iTunes and resetting to factory settings and resynched music. That worked! Back to having my music!

I currently have the same problem. My iPhone is up to date and I've tried it with other iPods and iPhones and it still won't work. Any ideas?
