thanks guys, everything went very smooth and i cant say enough about the hospitality of George and his friend Joe:hug: they even went so far as to give my girl and myself a ride to the local mall so we wouldn't be stuck at the shop all day. Truck drives much better, smooth as butter besides the converter lockup. cant wait for it to be a little more learned so i can slowly start giving her the meat:)

its a 22-2300 brake stall precision converter

:

load an 01 TCM tune and give it a few minutes and it will learn all that is needed... i'd go right to the big tune you won't hurt it

Yes, I'm sure. Did you even read the link you posted? The Big Dipper is part of Ursa Major, but it is not the same thing.

His link is to the wrong Ursa Major Here is a better one. It isn't mentioned on that page but that dragline is also known as The Big Dipper.

Really? I spent many years of my life near Ursa, was there then it was built and have been on it, I've never heard anyone call it Big Dipper. You can park six pickups in the bucket, she's a bigun.

Back on topic, it sure is nice to be able to go kill some prey without worry of limping home isn't it?

sorry for the delay been a hectic weekend with the build + street wars VI and all

not like it really matters but thats what i got out of it "Ursa Major is a constellation visible throughout the year in most of the northern hemisphere. Its name means the Great Bear in Latin. It is dominated by the widely recognized asterism known as the Big Dipper or Plough, which is a useful pointer toward north, and which has mythological significance in numerous world cultures"

well no offense but im gonna do what he told me to do to break it in/let it learn. he actually said not to worry about the trans tune i just one reflash of it lower my shifts back down to 3400. its in good shape now not 100% learned but close. made my first WOT runs with it last night and it was really really smooth.

out of curiosity though why on 01 TCM tune and not another year from a 5 speed? whats the difference?

ive been on a [ski] chair lift that was named URSA Express. Does that mean it takes me straight to Georges house quicker than if I drove my truck?

You're right; it doesn't really matter. However, since you keep responding, I will too. Let me explain it with a picture. The whole thing that is connected with lines represents Ursa Major. The part inside the red square is the Big Dipper.

Big Dipper IS NOT URSA MAJOR. Its referred to as an asterism, not a constellation. Ursa Major is the constellation.

Ya you dumb shits. :D The constillation nor the asterism look like George. But the bear still has skinny legs.:D

He just has skinny legs because it's his skeleton. This is what he used to look like (I know, still doesn't look like George).
