First post on here. I have a 2005 gmc 2500 duramax. I have done head gaskets with ARP studs and an Sinister Diesel EGR delete at the same time. Also straight piped. I seem to have had nothing but trouble with this duramax, this will be the last Dmax that I ever own. Was driving in sand through trails when I drove through a small creek stopped on the other side to talk to a buddy that was camping at the same lake when all of a sudden I lost oil pressure, turned the truck off instantly. I popped the hood and checked for leaks/oil level. My brother noticed that my upper rad hose was sucked flat. Have a small coolant leak of the piece were the delete hose goes to for the EGR( motor side). I got up to 101 Celsius in the trails an couple hrs before when my brother was leading with his XJ
and forgot there was a full size truck following him. Was in deep soft sand in extreme narrow trails that I had to back out 400 yards. Does anyone know what could have went wrong?
