Upgrade time!

Truck was dropped off at MikeL's shop this afternoon. Once it is done (and ready for some power ) its off to the farm shop to get torn down a bit for a few new go-fast goodies!

On the list:
- 60% injectors
- EPR S371
- 4" Turbo-back exhaust
- Head studs, LML manifold, and the odds and ends to make it all go together

This build has been a long time coming. It isn't half as crazy as many of the trucks on here, but I am still excited as a kid on Christmas!

I'll try and get some photos along the way.

Lol, Trent and Henry talked me down from 100% overs :spit:

The turbo flows 95 lbs/min. This is the kit I am getting, but powder coated "candy blue". The turbo:

Will do for sure. I want to hit a track as soon as it is done, but it may be late July before I can make a test n tune session. I'll post how it DD's and plays on the street sooner though :thumb:

Nice! throw a dual fueler on and you will be complete for a high 700hp truck . i dont think your rods would like it much though

Everything but the turbo is waiting in the shop, so I took the opportunity to do a dyno session so I can see where I am at before/after.

Preliminary results are 425.8 HP and 748.4 ft-lb torque on a homemade tune with no smoke. Stock put down 250/510 the same session.

I'll get the final #s and chart up as soon as I can.

As a side note, I'm considering posting the tune I wrote. Think anyone would be interested in it? FWIW MikeL thought it was alright :thumb:

Yeah, I've been wanting to upgrade my engine for a while, and it's nice to get started. After this, there will be one more fast(er) blue truck!
