Updated Part Number for 2011 Booster???

Here is the switch installed and solo. The red circle is showing the rod from the hydro that connects to the switch and brake pedal. I put the switch in exactly like the old. It only goes on one way. It's not pushing on the black switch. I looked online at a 2003 model and the 2011 model and the rods look identical. The new switch looked identical to the old one.

Well I got this figured out. The rod does not push the switch far enough when the brake pedal is applied. I took one of my realtors refrigerator magnets and used it as a shim. It measures .025 thick and that is difference of working versus not working. I cut it .0575 long and the width of the switch. I then super glued it to the face of switch, waited for it to dry and then installed. Works perfect now.

Well, I do have a problem with this install. I had a shop install these parts and I just found out that I don't have any brake lights or the 3rd brake light. I put in a new brake switch a couple weeks ago because I got a check engine light for it. I never really did check that they were working after the new switch. Just assumed it worked. Its not electrical. I've verified(with the wires plugged in) that the switch is working by pushing it in with a screw driver. However, when I install it to the brake pedal it doesn't work. It seems that the hydro boost rod is not pushing on the switch. Could use some help on this one.

Drill the hole out in the booster like I suggested earlier.
