Those radiator lines are schedule 40 pipe plus they are four feet off the ground. Plus you can not see it very well but the is a six inch walking platform right above them that will take the impact "when" she lays on her side. And yes there will be a heat shield made for them once I take it to Strange Fab here in Tucson to make the hood and center console. Since it will be licenced for the street, the last thing I would want is some young future vehicle enthusiest grab those 200 degree pipes trying to look at it while I am stopped at some store getting a cold one... It would wreck my day, not to say what it would do to the kid... Safety first, and we all live longer.

I added a rear view picture to try an show the step. I might be over 6 feet tall but it is still a big step to get in!

SWEET! Avalanche is about 45mins from my house. They did some work for us on my dads kodiak. Any chance you can get a video clip up of that thing in action with some sound? I would like to hear it!!

missed this one somehow. Luckily Kat enlightened me. :D

Very cool ride!

Why'd you run the SunCoast tailhousing on the allison? I thought Atlas makes a case that will bolt directly to an Allison as is? Did you just do it for the added strenth with the SunCoast piece???

Buuggy update...

I forgot this one. It shows a very tight package for the D-max but it fit. The A/C was replaced with an actual air compressor and there is a second 160amp alternator. It has a custom Bell inercooler up front and the radiator is in back. Fine tuning now with EFI but it runs great! Enjoy.
