so im new to the duramax world, so im out of my element here.
got a lbz with stock charger. with liftpump, headstuds, big tunes, aftermarket manifolds and up pipes.
currently getting ready for a suncost gmax6 RI 3 trans build. but unsure on what converter.
also running 4.11 diff ratios on 35s. (at aprox 1600rpm on 6th i get 100 kmph) sorry about metric im form the land of down under.
now what its used for is dailying,4wding bit of mild towing nothing as heavy as you guys, and a bit of racing.
in the future i want to go more power either twin turbos or bigger single.
i believe i would be better off getting a converter to suit stock then a different one when i go bigger. unless there is a converter that suits my needs.
i have been recommended from suncoast a 1074 with stall speed 2300.
but also been told i would a 1054 would be good. so i guess with everything i have just explained whats the best converter for me ?
any help is much appreciated due to living in Australia there is pretty much no modifying going on down here.
