Nicely said I may not agree with you but you do make a valid point, I am rep all the way so stuff like this bothers me, in a place of work you should be able to show your flag and love for your country. I beleive she should have been asked to maybe get a smaller falg if it was an issue, not just take it down because an African chick didn't like it

I am glad you kinda see my point even when I am not saying what happened is right, but it all boils down to disruption to a private business. If it affects the bottom line and action can be taken to stop it, it will be done. Also, being an american and showing your love through a symbol(flag) is great but keep in mind this is the USA and although you and I have lived here since day one an immigrant from a differant country who is here in legal status has a right to voice their opinion and fly their own flag if they so choose. That is what makes this country so great, freedom of speech. So in the end while I may not agree with the action taken I believe it would have gone down the same way if it was any other flag. Trust me, I am right there with you but I am just trying to be fair to everyone.

I see your point aswell Josh  And no, i prolly wont be carring around a huge american flag, etc, etc. I have some small ones in/on differant things.

Agreed, prolly a non-issue if it were a hat or somthin else.

But when your ask to take your "American Flag" down in the United States of America.....especially from a forigner (citizen or not) that chose to be here in the USA, that strikes me as BS:mad: Its hypocritical. And likly to get a rise/attention from people.

Just my own opinion, very cut and dry to me. Dont like being american or seeing the US flag in the country of origin, fine, get out, leave! Or even prehaps......dont look at it? Or keep your mouth shut?

My employeer is from Lebanon, Hes proud to here, loves it. A coworker of mine is from Syria, he has the same sentiment, loves the US. As do the 2 other forign guys i work with. My Dad and his entire side of his family are all immigrants from Germany, im 1st generation German/American. They wouldnt dare b!tch about our flag! There blessed to be here too.

I would be willing to bet, if I went to someone elses country and said there countrys flag offended me so take it down, Id prolly get my @ss kicked ;) That BS wouldnt fly elsewhere!

x2 why is an American Flag in America offensive to begin with? The supervisor is in the wrong. The employee in this case has a right to go and complain but I see why she wouldn't especially with a crappy economy and high unemployment.

unbeliveable! I cant for the life of me see how any american citizen could be "offended" by the flag being shown anywhere! Its RIDICULOUS!!!
