The only way I see this happening is getting the NHRDA involved they have the ability to set something like this up. If 5 of us tried to make this happen we would have tremendous hurdles to jump over

Not trying to come across rude but not all the major events are out west. TS and Scheid are nowhere near any of us out west. If you want to be "fair" (will never happen) wouldn't Missouri be a state in the "middle" of the country? Just sayin.

On a sperate thought....how about something like the NCAA tournament where there could be regional qualifiers (competitions in the North, S,E, and W). The top however many from each region meet in the middle for the main event no holds bar competition to smash all competitions! Just need to figure out where the $ will come from to put these things on!

I vote we no longer talk about DPC and delete the very name from all further threads lol

I like that idea of regional qualifiers..

I personally don't believe they need to be involved but the more pull/funding the merrier right?. If we all put our minds together and come up with a solid plan we can pull this off.. and With the contacts my boss Ron has i believe this can be accomplished.

I don't think that the truck has to drive their i personally like to tow my truck to events in case of a break down.

If it's close to Oklahoma I'd definitely go. Anything by Kansas would be considered central imo. But I'm also not a competitor..

:roflmao: that would actually be quite funny. However, I believe that with the cliental SunCoast has, How many people my boss knows, and all of us on the forums here we could get it done. We're forgetting how many venders/business owners and enthusiasts there actually are on here.

Maybe a few different HP classes. Or at least a fuel only class and open. I'd like to see the fuel only trucks, not guys just spraying the crap out of them on the dyno.

I've always thought Bristol Motor Speedway would be a good place to have a diesel event. They have a 1/4 mile track, huge camping area, but I'm not sure where the sled pulling track would be.

I know this is a little party pooperish, but this comes up all the time on forums. There are 1,000,000 ideas. Getting everybody involved is a good way to get nothing done. A true democracy doesn't actually work that well in very many cases. If you have the contacts to pull it off, just go for it. Good luck.

Input from others is a great way to get ideas to put something together. Although all may not be used, everyone had their input. Just like yours.

I would think St Louis (or maybe even KC)would be centrally located. They have a badass 1/4 mile track and there is some sled pulling stuff near by. Lots of Dynos down that way. Plenty of hotels and such.:thumb:

I think the event needs to have a drag strip and pulling track on the same grounds or very close to each other

You should consider keeping it simple, drag, dyno, and sled pull. And just do the normal classes in each event. Putting allot of stipulations like daily drive trucks only will complicate things and force some people to cheat.
