I hate to derail a perfectly good bashing thread...but does someone have a pic of this adapter installed? And what different filters will it accept? I'm interested in getting one.

Let me clear this up...

Brandon Ordered Injectors back in 2011. Yes quite awhile ago.

We were using a company that sold us injectors (same ones avail at dealer/same ones i posted photo of box) with avrage pricing.
They had a $200 Core.(I can verify this and just in fact looked at an old invoice)

Early last year we switched to Henderson Chevrolet for almost ALL of our stock GM parts sales due to the pricing being a lot better. We got most parts from them but after sponsorship talk we also made an agreement on pricing if we primarly use them as much as possiablefor parts. And yes we get great pricing from those guys and great service on warranty.

The company we used before we went strictly Henderson Chevy charged us $200 each core, They also had their policy on what cores were refunded. They were a direct Bosch dealer/Installer. They would flow test injectors as well.

For whatever it is worth, I will give my side of the story.

Purchased 8 injectors w/ $200 core deposit, turned in 8 cores, over 1 YEAR LATER...no core refund! So, I sent one of my guys to collet money, he came home with $1000. Which still leaves me $600 down.

Let me be clear...I don't feel that I am owed anything. I just wanted to speak for myself.

I guess JKholder shouldnt have made such a big deal out of it if you dont care about the 600,not that im dismissing it.Pretty bold to come on here and make a big deal trying to get the refund for you but no changing that.i know he was trying to look out for you but it sure stired things up lol.

Not sure if I'm reading it right or not.

Are you saying you sent the cores back 1 year after you got new ones or that you have been waiting on the core money for over a year.

At first I thought he meant he turned them in a year later. Now that I re read it and see the comma I think he may mean that 1 year later the money wasnt returned yet. Hard to tell though because you would think that he would've sent them promptly to get the money, and you would've thought there would've been a lot of pressure on UDP before the 1 year mark. If there was, I am sure some feelings would be tense, this guy sounds like its not that way.

Who knows.

From what i thought was said was there where a few calls made and a promise to be called back was given from udp and they never followed up from what JK said but who the hell knows you got 1 guy fighting for another guy that doesnt care enough to go after it soooooooo.:dontknow: Ima gonna have another beer:thumb:

So, yep, I turned the cores in right away and a year lapsed before I was able to apply enough pressure to get some $. I had given up and Holder was trying to help me out. I'm just a guy tryin' to blow a little black smoke.
