If he would have sent the cores i had 400 bucks waiting on them
He paid 550 for them
They were really nice. So he would have had 150 plus shipping in them
Hecdecided to get some new guides and decked. Machine said they were perfect. So now he has 750 in perfect set of heads
Was that a bad deal josh
What dmax used heads dont need decked in a machine shops mind?
Spec on valve guides is 8 thosands machine shop said 2 were .003 and replaced them
600 to deck heads and replace 2 guides?
Who is the rip off?
I wish i would get the cores back still i am low on ported heads especially lly

Hey man i just wanted to let ya know i work out of town but i get off for the holidays tomorrow and ill be getting the heads taken care of and hopefully sent out before monday. He said he bought them for $700 shipped and paid another $500 for the machine work. According to my math, that's $1200. The fact of the matter is you sold something that is not what was described.

2 used lly cylinder heads no valve leakage valve guide and stem clearance is within spec and side play is all less than .002". Heads pressure tested and flat All ready to install. Head gaskets and bolts all gm grade c. Available for 250 extra. Add 750 for arp studs and grade c gaskets. This auction is for both heads. I will sell them individually
so even if they were 700 shipped, I gave him 400 core if he ever sends them back so you are good at math josh thats 300
so now he paid 500 for a valve and decking, repair 2 guides????

He was super happy at the end and said we went above and beyond, I also told him he could retuen them for his money back as well.
they woulda been fine if he woulda just put them anyhow, we all know a machine shop is gonna want to make them like brand new
Fact of the matter is it was described exactly correct, and ebay agreed and did not refund the money. I had no obligation to do anything but I still offered him 400 bucks to help him out.
My customer service is really really good and I would think a smart guy like you could see that.
If YOU were the one who got ripped off, you would want your issue to be resolved. Sometimes it takes these kinds of threads to identify rip off artists like that kid who took 5 or 6 people here a short time ago. Josh is watching this thread let him use his discretion to manage the validity of what is being said. If its not accomplishing anything, he will I'm sure close the thread.
I' still waiting on a reply to my email about getting a adaptor.
