Turbo is on and the truck runs. Flashed a new tune onto it with all the normal turbo codes turned off and I keep getting a U1000 and C0245 code.

I cleared them both, restarted, and they came up again.

Any ideas what these could be?

The U1000 is a communication malfunction with something.
The C0245 looks like a speed sensor frequency malfunction.

Help!

Ok so the U1000 code seems to be popular and most say its not a problem.

But the C0245 is a speed sensor code....though i didnt touch anything on the wheels at all.

Test between A1 & B1 for 1000k Ohm resistance (Left front WSS circuit)
Test between A2 & B2 for 1000k Ohm resistance (Right front WSS circuit)

Each circuit should be between 950 & 1100 Ohms. If both are within range, I suspect that, from reading others with the same C0245, that the egr wiring needs plugged back in, or the flash for EGR delete needs removed and reinstalled.
Why a EBCM code with the EGR is beyond me, but that's the correlation I'm observing.

It also would not hurt to clean up the grounds on the frame ear that connects to the front left cab mount.

Is it possible that during the turbo swap that an engine harness ground was inadvertently disconnected?

If you have an aftermarket head unit you'll get thr U1000 code because your rear seat audio won't work at least that's what mines from

The EGR is gone.

I do however, have this plug left over.

It was plugged into the EGR. Strange that that code has anything to do with the EGR....

It is the EGR motor plug.

But now were thinking that the C0245 code has something to do with this EGR plug being disconnected??

Theres no option to turn this code off.

All EGR diagnostic tests are already disabled, along with the available EGR codes.

did you ever take your fenders off when you pulled the turbo? i would follow all your ABS sensor wires up from the hubs and make sure a wire was not cut, rubbed or its all connected.

0 miles. Havent driven it for over a month.

It throws the code when key'd on.

If i clear it, it throws it again.

well as soon as you get off your lazy ass to drive it, it will probably clear the code. Since the EBCM has not seen a speed signal for some time (specially if the batt was disconnected) it will state there is a problem untill you drive her around again. Once it sees the speed signals it should self clear the code. if that is the only wheel speed sensor code you shouldnt even get a check engine light though you may get an ABS light for a min while you drive till it sees the signals are all inline with one another
