Twins: why do people move the battery and coolant tank?

i dont think you could do that with an lb7. the intake is further back and you would have to contort the cac pipe to get it around everything. plus i only lost about a gallon of coolant and thats because the kit came with a new tank. and why does the filter have to be as close to the cp3 as possible?

The more the distance between filter and pump will mean more chance of contamination ( pump damage ).

It's not the contamination in the tank you need to worry about. It's the fuel lines/fittings/rubber hoses that will introduce contaminants. Probably a non-issue but I rather play it safe.

Looks good man...what turbos are you using?

Has an S475 on it right now. This past weekend I just built a "different" set. Got the charger farther from the coolant tank, and incorporated a waste gate around the stock charger. Waiting on the last pieces to show up and then it will be "complete" parts wise.

Going to get the tranny built before I swap this set on.
