quiet the oposite ;)

a big single effective usuable rpm is say 2,000-2,500rpm sweep IE 2,000-4500 if your lucky

twins can easily increase your rpm sweep by 50-75% or more

with twins lower egts, quicker spool of the big charger, less drive pressor. down side increase cost

i dont agree with the lower DP part.....

no matter what you can only flow as much as the top chargers exhaust housing, and there typically very small for high HP applications.

super diesel

<<<< Under Pressure
In a twin set up, the drive pressure and the turbo RPM on the top turbo (smaller one) needs to be monitored and wastegated accordingly to keep it in good shape. The wastegated pressure should be dumped at the larger turbo in which should have an wastegate itself to dump if it gets to spinny (not usually the case unless runing a real small A/R exhaust housing). The smaller the big ones exhaust housing the better for quicker spool and staying on top of it. This is DP in check. This can be a costly set up if done correctly. However the pros out weigh the cons.

one could run waste gate off of DP vs boost.

take the 4088/4718 setup
the 40 could start to open up about 1.75-2.0 PR closer to 3.0 and you are naturallty pushign the limits...

iirc Mika did this on his setup

i say twin it n20 is good but twins are always on tap no refill needed and a little safer on the pistons , unless your pulling with it and have to stay within a certain inducer size, or funds are not there . those two things are the only reasons i could think of not to twin it . just my opinion
