Just picked up a machined cover and 80mm wheel to go on my 475 I have on my twin setup (s475 over stock). Anyone done the switch and seen much gain? Figured there might be some gain there, specially if I up the flow through the stock charger
Sell it to me, let's see how well a stock 444 spools it
BAh.....you only run at 500hp....don't even need the big charger
Sell it to me, let's see how well a stock 444 spools it
I bet its coated orange...like they said above...who cares, you'll only run 500 horse through it anyway.
Dooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit you know you want to
i did this on a customers truck went from 75 to 80 with race cover and it took some tuning to get it running perfect gain made the twins little lazier imo but it dropped wot egts down from 1550-1600 to 1450-1500 so worth it still just needs some spicyer tuna from steve
that was a whole turbo swap though and think the 80 had the same turbine size though dont remeber been awhile. Needless to say do it! and do a dts or fleece drop in stock appearing so you can make 590hp
Touché....
Like Brian said, floor it today, light it tomorrow
Want to sale the 75 wheel and cover?
Sail? Where are we going?:woott:
hahaha the way im seein it. with twins, dual fuelers, 45 overs, and spicy tuna i only gained 40hp. so if i add the 480, ill gain .5hp
How you know you'll walk me? Never raced this truck.
Nah probably 1hp  ill gain at least 40 with my batmo 480
S480's are overrated, I only saw 28psi out of mine in my GMC :happy2:
I gots more bennies than you gots. Im not above spending obscene amounts of money just to beat you.
Means nothing for you currently. At this very moment, my tow tune will take your hundred bucks like a nav drinks Budweiser. I'd like to see you spend an obscene amount of money to beat me cause when you do, I'll shake your hand and say "it's about time you beat a lifted 8,000lbs truck" lol
