twin turbo,built motor and trans lly for sale on Craigslist

that seems really cheap socals built motor is 18,xxx alone without the fuel and turbos cant see how someone could sell this whoel thing for 22500
Yeah he has receipts for the build but they're not in his name. He says he bought it the way it sits with 5k on the motor build The socal invoice is from the end of january 2012. So from the time being assembled to now it has 15k which seems like a whole hell of a lot considering it probably wasnt running until mid year 2012.

One invoice was from 09 and one was from 2011. ???? I thought this was the truck that was for sale a few years ago. Pretty sure it is.
even if something is wrong it is worth the asking price just in parts! Even if you had a melted piston or broke crank you could rebuild the short block and have a really nasty truck still for a good price. If anything is wrong i doubt it could be to bad or it would be too noticeable to try and sell it because whoever went to buy it and test drive would hear or see a mechanical issue... Sounds like a deal to me.
Something is not right that the price of the truck without the mods..
i would be iffy on this one motor work alone is over 5k not to include labor 1700 in dual fuelers and 4k in the trans, 2,500 in turbos at the min. over 10k just in extras yeah i know you dont get it all back but if this was all true the truck is worth about 30k IMO

I talked to him on the phone. Seems completely legit. Wish I could get down there to take a look at in in time (on hitch). Said he has a ton of interest and a guy flying in from NY to look at it this week.
That looks like a hell of a deal, must be some members in the Houston area that could go and take a look at it? Isn't Kory from down that way somewhere and where does Josh live?
Hi everyone.... I'm the owner of the truck. I'm thrilled about all the attention the truck is getting but there seems to be some concern. I'm waiting for a call back from the previous owner who is the one that had all the work done. I'm trying to get answers to some questions that have come up on this thread. As far as the asking price... I wasn't aware that I am asking way to little for it. Down here in Texas it books for $21k. From my experience in auto sales, you can't really expect to get more for your vehicle just because there is a lot of money invested. All the banks see is a 05 truck with 150k miles. But if it will make everyone feel better I will be more than happy to accept more money for the truck. I have all the receipts and have no reason to doubt that the truck isn't legit. I will be happy to answer any questions that anyone has as best I can. Thanks
