In the process of throwing on a set of custom wherli twin turbos, happened to look at how the battery relocate kit works, and it wont work. I have amp power steps on my truck that tuck between the rocker and the frame. The battery reolcate bracket moves the battery to the passenger side frame. So its a no go on my truck. Whats some other options for batterys? Think its possible to run new wires along the driver side frame and mount the battery on the inside? I have brand new yellow top batterys, hate to have to ditch them.

Yes sir. Just run the wires long enough and mount that sucker in your bed, or in the inside of the frame rail somewhere

I made my own bracket. Turn the battery the long ways with the bed, in front of wheel well. Fits nice there and is out of the way. I didnt want the corrosion from our winters around here with the battery on frame.

Where you located? If it does not get too cold there you can also just run one.

I made my own box out of aluminum diamond plate and a removable face plate, inside rail under cab/back seat. Box is open on top and built for 2 batts if I ever want to move both down there or go 3 batts on next change. Used the factory battery hold down inside box to keep battery secured. Extended lines with #00 butt connectors, covered in heat shrink tubing after splice, from home depot and 8' of#00 jumper cables. Pulled the existing cables as far as they would go and ended up making the connection for both + & - on the frame rail in the driver side wheel well.
