Turn the Dodge Viper logo upside down and guess who appears...

When turned upside down, the Viper logo turns into what appears to be... Daffy Duck. Or, as some other folks have mentioned, perhaps it's Duck Dodgers, or Darkwing Duck.

One of the suggestions for what it was, was an alligator with a volcano on it's head.
