I have an 05 CC Duramax currently building a 5 stage PPE tranny, Loooking to upgrade my turbo any one have any suggestions ? Garrett / ATS ? Also installing new intercooler, BD big bor manifolds and new up pipe. When Im done shooting for 700 to 850hp. Also modifing oem fuel pump, addiding electric fuel pump, PPE dual fueler up front shim kit on the fuel rail.

I would worry about rods with all the fuel mods you are talking about. What do you plan to do with the truck? Race,pull,dd or just a toy for the street?

Think you need to think about what you want to do with ytour truck instead of what you want.

BD manifold isnt needed. Overprised LML manifold.

Head studs need to be done in conjunction with a new turbo. Someone correct me if im wrong but iirc lly head gaskets and bolts will only hold 30psi before blowing out.

Nope, that's not true. It's really hit or miss. Some blow with stock programming and stock turbo while some hold 50+ psi of boost and over 600 HP with stock head bolts.

Lol wow yeah thats way way off. If it were that way i would have blowin headgaskets before bendin my rods :D

I would skip on everything and just do a trans, tuning, liftpump and a good turbo. It will save you allot of money and your still going to have to detune to keep your rods from bending.

do you know of any one that does dyn tuning on the east coast for duramax? I'm in SW VA so NC is just a hop an a skip.

not really, ur best bet is a truck show or event, i dyno'ed mine in pa at a truck show. and like a buncha guys said def have to do rods with what you want to do. i have a s464 and kit by trent with efi and turned all the way up its always in the back of my mind. thats why im in the process of a build...
