Is there anything I can do or a cost effective turbo swap I can do to get rid of the terrible turbo squeal of my turbo. I play on putting twins on eventually do whatever it is it would need to be compatable with twin setup. Thanks any input is appreciated.

Have you ever considered a muffler? I had that on my LBZ till I put a muffler on it and now my straight piped LML I hear it to.

I heard a s480 on an lbz and it sounded freakin awsome real throaty and a shit ton of turbo whistle. But would like something more along the lines of a direct bolt up.

The idle can be tuned to rumble more. The sound at WOT, there isn't much you can do about without changing the turbo. You won't find a direct bolt in turbo that isn't a VVT.

I can't imagine an S480 working all that well for a DD truck, especially one with a stock engine and fuel system. I wouldn't go over a 472.

I may be wrong, but I think you can tune the hiss out at light throttle and when cruising. If you made the vane position stay around 20% or lower until mm3 reaches 30 it might help. Just one of the many things I would like to try and don't have the time.

You have not got the exhaust and down pipe on to judge the sound yet. I think your jumping over way to many areas before you get past the first one.
