Turbo talk.... Again

So im finally about to pull the trigger on a turbo and am split between the s366sxe and the s369sxe with a.91 ar housing. It's going on my 2006 lbz. The truck is a daily driver that i occasionally race. I have read a ton of the previous threads and most of you guys said the 369 but that was a while ago and am trying to see if you guys have different mind sets on these two now.
I only want to make 600-615hp to try to reduce my max fuel tuning that i currently have with my stock turbo. Could i expect that from both of these? My truck is stock fuel, has a 1056 converter, and i live between 5300-7200ft. I dont plan on changing my fuel or converter anytime soon either. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I've looked into that as well and just want to leave the variable vane turbos. I really enjoy the sound of straight vane.

at your altitude without adding fuel you will lose drive ability even with a small 69mm turbo... imho

That's fair, and I am kind of expecting that, but simply want to change it up a bit.

What about a 364? I wouldn't go bigger then a 366. Its more then enough to kill you engine when pushed.

Thought about it but slightly want to use this one later down the road and dont want to be limited with the size. Also i would like to get the top end power that the medium to larger singles can give.

I'd still go vvt at that altitude, tuning is gonna be a bitch to get right when you start changing elevation...

You won’t be reducing any pulse width with either of those turbos to hit that HP, atleast not in an area considered “safe”

Alrighty. Thats what I was unsure of, ill just shoot for a lower number then and see what diesel day dreams has to say now. Thanks.
Btw I was trying to get that number through weather correction factor for up here, I knew it wouldnt be feasible for actual power, if that makes a difference.
