LB7: Turbo question

Hi guys i am new to diesel performance and know nothing about tuning just what i read here, first off i have a 03 LB7 with a K&N intake a magna flow 4" down pipe back straight pipe, i just put a Diablo and set it to the 125hp tune and took it out for a test spin and it lagged around 17 psi and after it shifted it built boost to 21 psi do i need a different waste gate or the PPE boost valve or is the tune de-fueling it to make me think its lag? or i was reading about a module that lets you fool the puter and let ya build more boost... any help will be gratefull as i want to smoke a few strokers and dodges runnin around here

Get EFI Live and never look back. PPE boost valve is a very good mod for your LB7, especially for the small price.

Yep, boost valve is a good "bang for the buck" mod for the LB7. It'll wake that Predator tune up. You'll probalby want more out of the truck after a while, and thats when you'll wish you had EFILive and the tuning possibilities it offers.

Then....its only a short trip to a built transmission.

Yea thats what i am thinking myself is the tranny or a turbo...because i drive this thing every day and it has 170k on her now so it probally wont be long, i ordered the PPE boost valve and the PPE overboost code eliminator..

You don't need the overboost code eliminator if you go to EFI Live........

LOL, what does she drive - I'll keep my eye out. I had my sister-in-law learning to drive in my truck this weekend - she seems more comfortable in it than our Jetta and really liked smoking out another driver

LOL no way will I let her drive ole whitey. I got her a hotrod to drive its a 1998 4 door saturn. LoL and she calls it buger because of the color kinda sea foam green. But hey it has a sunroof and 2 busted speakers hehehe. Just as soon as we get out of here ima give you a call
