Here's a few pics of the pedistal Russ did for me. Can't say enough good things about Russ and Scott both. Scott was kind enough to allow Russ to port his BD unit and ship it out to ATS during my motor build. We did an exchange kind of deal. ATS shipped Russ my BD once it was removed. You can clearly see from the first pic just how much casting is able to be removed to match the gasket.

Has anyone ported stock exhaust manifold?

That's my next project :D
I've been wanting to do that for awhile. I think there's good gains to be made porting/polishing stock manifolds & tow flow up pipes, using an LML driver side manifol obviously.
I've had an LML on the shelf for awhile.

Hopefully I'll get a chance this or next month to do so.

Haha, I'm actually doing a set of manifolds I got off a lml motor I replaced. They were just sitting in my tool box and I figured what the heck. I started one last week, just don't have a lot of free time rite now lol

Here's a couple pictures of what I've done so far, which isn't much honestly lol. I need to get some longer carbides to reach inside. But you can see how restricted the stock ports are.

Looks good :thumb:

There's definitely room for improvement.
Get some long 6" die grinder bits, but you need to be careful being they will get off balance if you don't have control of it.

Get egg shape or ball end bits so you can go in the port holes to get the whole thing.

An addicts place to be....... 95% of all the small project pictures are taken on someone's dinner table!!!!! In the still frame I can hear everyone's beloved other going "D**N IT Get that thing off the table while we are eating!!!" Or at least that's what mine always says!!! Lmao!!!
