Hey guys I know there are several threads on turbos but looking for help with my setup. I just killed my 2.5 charger again, 2 hooks and 150 street miles and its shot again! Looking for something that drives nice and will last! Want to do some drag racing next season and drive it and enjoy it! Looking at like an s468 I've always ran 87mm turbines and had great luck, are the 83mm better or worse? I know there are many of you guys with great knowledge and looking for help. Truck has 100 overs and dual cp3 built motor lb7

464's more than likely, a full blown 2.5 truck has a tendency to scatter the 87tw equipped 2.5 legal turbo due to overspeeding. Depending on gearing and how hard they're pushed, they have been blowing up around here.

6 hooks and lost a thrust bearing last season, same turbo rebuilt for this season 2 hooks and 150 street miles and not sure what it did but it's got a lot of play. It's a tct s463 87/1.0 done by Danville. Hopefully it can be fixed and then it's up for sale, I know pulling is hard on them but thought it should last longer then it did

If you want quick & dirty, pull out your pyrometer (usually in the exhaust manifold) and plumb it in there. Use metallic tubing for the first 3' and from there you can switch over to whatever. Use a mechanical boost gauge and throw it on the dash. Put a check valve in line if you want to hold the max drive pressure value.
