What procedure are people doing when breaking in a new turbo?

I know your supposed to keep the engine from firing and just crank it over to pump oil into the turbo. Then start and let it idle for a peroid of time.

Thanks.

pour a little oil in it if you want. They have oil in them from the factory. Just start it and let it idle like normal. When you park your truck over night (or a few days) the oil drains out. You don't prime the oil system every time you go to drive your truck:D

The little fitting on top in the middle of the turbo, take it off and pour oil in it, you know......oil in the little hole, air in the big one, haha.

ya just un plug that fuse like said then crank it over for 15 secs or so. plug the fuse back in, start truck, let it come up to operating temp... check for leaks and hammer down

Not if you use a check valve:)
