So the other night as I'm driving I go to pass a car, I kick it down, it builds to 10 psi and starts to surge. The next morning I get on the interstate, kick it down and no problem. Last night on my way home go to pass a car, builds to 30 psi and starts surging. This morning it was fine for the first 30 minutes of driving, then it didn't want to build boost.

Its like its not getting fuel. I have new filters on my AD and factory fuel head. One guy told me to check my MAF sensor, so I cleaned it, still the same result. Is it common for that senor to go bad? Any ideas?

I think I would remove the factory fuel head, not sure it was designed to pass the amount of fuel you are trying to feed those cp3's, i wonder what your rail pressure is doing, are you getting commanded pressure? How much fuel is in the tank during this issue? Could it be as simple as needing to install a draw straw?

I've been running it like this for a year without a problem.
