I have always wondered this in a diesel. I know in a gas you have to retard the timing when spraying, just wonding about how much you have to pull on a diesel? Sorry if off topic.

It was a 2 stage digital set-up .

You can try to PM him on DP or call me and I will give you his number . He never ck's his PM's there .

He is a good tuner and a good friend . He is in Palm Springs . A few here will remember him from the old days on DP .

OK, who has done successful n2o tuning on our trucks? I'd like to work with someone who has had good safe results.

Thanks.

How much do you want to spray it with? Any pill .070 or under I wouldn't do anything. .070 will take around 6-1/10th's of your time. A friend just did this with an LLY with no tuning changes running one of chris's tunes with timing running in the 30's. By looking at your avatar you have plenty of fuel:D I ran a 1.05 pill which took a full second off my time. I did drop the timing then 5* which was in the high 30's at the time. I also put as much fuel to it as I could while still keeping decent RP 20-21K. With the LMM i'm pretty sure you will have better results keeping RP higher, along with plenty of fuel.

Watch your heads!!;)

NOS tuning

Pretty much what LB7 said. If your just going to run a smaller amount (under 0.080) then run what you have and you should be fine. Most fittings are smaller than .080 so unless you bought a big kit or have special fittings anything bigger won't do a whole lot. Don't be affraid of timing nos is just liquid air it's not a fuel, it will not burn without fuel. If I can help just hit me up. Thanks Jeff

X2..

No wossie ass little sylnoids either. Use a .125 and drill out the dry nozzle. A set of micrometers is what I used for my drill bit index to find the sizes. Screw buying them, just drill them.

LOL. I'll look into that. So I should drill my nozzel to .125 and then index the nozzel to .06-.08?

Whats a decent Silinoid. I was just gonna pick up a standard NX like I run on the dry side of my stang.

Yes drill the nozzle too .125. Run atleast a .07? pill. Anything over .090 and your on the edge to me of potential short headgasket life. NX is what I run also. I can give you the drill bit sizes tommorow if ya want? Another thing is, don't spray it until after the truck launches. Low rpm spraying will have you possibly on a rollback for your ride home. Just let me or Jeff know if we can help anymore. He's excellent also!

Joey is my personal hero on NOS he has done well over the years

Jeff is great also:)

It was fun while it lasted! Nothin like twin turbo's for a $30 bottle fill:D. I was ready to do it again until the damn trans took a crap!! Beater!!
