Just talked to Todd. Evan smoot won the 2.6 class. He said the track was sticky and rough. He said it killed a lot of tough trucks. I think winner was mid 290's and there was a good many right around 290 and 291. Said Rob was in that bunch. That's really all I know. Maybe someone will chime in that was actually there. Sounds like the cummins trucks took top 3 and possibly top 5
Smoot went 303.xx. I think one truck was 294.xx and a bunch at 291ish. Track was very rough and a lot of traction. Seen a bunch of broke/destroyed traction devices. Some broke rearends,etc..
Off Constantly went 305.xx to win the 3.0 and I am pretty sure Rock Hard Ram got the Pro Mod. Not sure the distance though the track wasnt that great the 3.0 guys were having trouble. Vince won Sportsman. It took about 2 hours to get the power back after a drunk guy took out a poll. All in all it was a good weekend I think.
The pulling track didn't have any traction for the first 75ft and then hooked up decent, the end was sticky and had a big hole about 290ish from trucks digging, so if u had the power to get past it with ur truck, the pan dropped off in the hole and stopped u like a rock. The early pullers had luck of the drawl this time as the hole developed after the first 15 trucks or so. There was a lot of hard runners that got stopped in the hole. We'll try again at fass nationals.
