The contoller, in effect, splits the load between the two cp3's. Reality is, the controller just duplicates the signal from the ecm. The ecm has no idea more than one is present. So, the ecm actualy does the control. The ecm, in effect, sees the one cp3 able to do the work but at half the duty cycle ( depending on how you view it, on or off ). Hope this makes since.

Of course this is my take watching it with a scope.

Then why the scare of running them on a stock motor? If the ECM still only commands "X" psi then how does it produce harmful pressure? I know this ventures into the engine arena but if the electronics call for 29,xxx then why ?

Dual CP3's dont break anything , it can be used with a tow tune and command stock power and pressure , the fear is self control in knowing your a flash of a tune away from all the fuel you will ever want .

100% correct! The software is what hurts parts.

I dont know 100% as I dont have this set up or have even played with it but I know a bit about power and how things work.

Okay
CP3 on is 0v sent to it
CP3 off is 12v sent to it

when you have twin CP3's you need a box(control) to split the ECM signal and amplify(or duplicate) it as if you just split it you will not get the full frequency of the wave to each CP3 and you will end up telling them to put out more fuel then you can use /need at say idle.

Dan or any other guys that make the boxes am I on the right track?

I know I don't make the box but, if the controller in effect splits the work, once the commanded pressure is achieved the ecm will start increasing duty cycle. And so on.

Or is it the software user?:D

Beryllium reflector and a 97%+ plutonium-239 core can really amp up the performance.

Don't mix with nitrous though...

(not classified info)

Umm... Is this safe? Will it put holes in the side of my block? And, will you be the first to demonstrate?

Mad scientist thought of the day:

Beryllium reflectors installed in the heads at the top of each chamber as well as a monocrystalline Beryllium coating on the pistons should greatly increase the thermal neutron density in the fuel charge.

Portion in red and what Jon was talking about earlier. Where is the CP3 controller located? If I interpretted what Jon said is that there is always 12V going to it, but the circuit isn't complete until it is grounded and that how it is controlled (via ground).

CP3 on = not grounded
CP3 off = grounded
CP3 % = % of time grounded
My reference to CP3 is this case would be CP3 controller.

am I close?

Dual CP3 controllers are whats known as emulator's, iirc. I wish i was smart enough to make my own:rofl: Someday maybe!

What i would like to know is, since the FPR is the choke point of the pump, IF a very precise solinoid could be sourced that can be PWM controlled and mounted (perhaps in an external manor) could we rescale the FPR table to match it and run it for our CP3 control? That might open some doors? That would be a big "IF" on the solinoid though. Having had one apart and seeing the low psi control slot in the slide valve, that would be a tough one to duplicate. Maybe an electroniclly controlled needle valve?
