Hello All,

I'm looking for a trusted transmission builder in the Houston area, or even a reasonable drive say 200 miles or so. There aren't too many shops that specialize in Duramax work in my area, but there are alot that work on Powerstrokes only...

I have limped my tranny once, and the code stated solenoid C was open or something like that. Couldn't really figure out the issue as the circumstances other people were describing wasn't what I had (ie Edge programmer, downshifting). I didn't have any programmer on it, just going uphill seemed hang between gear 3-4 shifts and then didn't want to go into 5th until a couple restarts later.

There's nothing that's really wrong with my transmission right now, just looking for a future upgrade as my ultimate goal is around 500rwhp.

Van, TX seems a little far, but if he does good work, I will certainly keep him in mind. For a 228 mile one-way trip, I would hope I wouldn't need to leave it for more than a couple days.

I'm sure if you set it up he can do a fast turn around, give him a call, he's a good guy and he won't steer you wrong.

Is his contact info on the vendor page? I see he has a facebook, but no webpage. There's not any contact info on the page that I could find.
