You can always buy another truck. Glad you're still here to be telling us this.

Wish you the speediest of recoveries.

Speedy recovery, I got rear ended sitting still by a f150 do 60 mph. I wasn't hurt at all bit totaled the truck 3 weeks after I bought it. It sucks but I didn't really have any money in it yet either like you.
That thing looks like a transformer

Wow!! That was some wreck....glad to hear you're ok. Those are the worst types of accidents...offset frontal. Because you're basically absorbing the full energy of the crash with just sheet metal and no strong frame there.

Given how fast you were going, and being an offset frontal crash with a tree, the truck/structure/restraints look like they did a pretty decent job, especially since you walked away.

Be glad you were in a crew cab...an extended cab would (with its lack of B-pillar and much weaker cab structure) have been a much worse situation.

JMO, but I would see if you can replace it with an 09+ dmax that has ESC. Even on sheet ice, its pretty amazing what the system is capable of doing as far as preventing scary accidents like this.

Wow you did a number on that truck. You're lucky you didn't get hurt any worse. I had a close call on ice @70 that would of ended the same way, but my angel was a little faster and I was able to recover before hitting a bridge.

Screw all that new junk. Get you a LBZ GMC.:thumb:
