I dont have a trust fund either, i make my way every step and if you actually new me instead of just talking out your a** you would know that, but you dont, just like you dont know what, why or what happened with the sled or the trucks that competed:thumb: I got a really good idea tho, how about you set up your own event, then you can call all the bs you want when it does not go your way:thumb: You pay big dollars for YOUR OWN advertisement and booths.:thumb:

Pure Genius!!!!
Did you pull???? Where you there??????

By the way we do put on our own event each year. None of these events would make a go if there wasnt support but you know this from how again????

Which trucks and class are you talking about?

So I am just trying to nail down your point of contention here. Are you thinking its unfair that the ATS truck (the 3rd gen white dodge dually) got second, and the Scheid truck (the 2nd gen white "Another Bad Habit" and a Scheid truck) got first? It sounds to me, based on your first post, you got what you wanted...the Scheid truck won.

In your first post, you said that you didnt think the ATS truck should have done as well. Did you have a customer in there or something? Which truck was it? Because I didnt see any trucks with an Empire Diesel sticker on it. Just wondering

Wow!!!!!! I leave for a couple weeks and this is what happens??????? First of all I am very proud of Clint for winning his FIRST pull against One Bad Habit... Which is one bad a$$ truck... Ask anyone he was the only truck that I even cared to look at for a while. The Adam's County sled pull August 6 2010 was an NSPA event. So what EDP is saying in a nutshell is that the NSPA cheated for ATS, is that what I'm understanding???? It's ridiculous even the notion. There are a few NSPA leaders around here, and they are always at the events. Ask them what they think about cheating for ATS... Ain't gonna happen... Maybe if they would Hazmax would have gotten One Bad Habit before now... Lol....
Second of all.... Duramini looks great in his jeans... Since I'm a girl it's much more acceptable for me to notice than you buddy, that's just weird.
I also was at the dyno, and watched Dimitri running around all day long like a chicken with his head cut off always willing to help someone and always with a smile on his face. Even when people started acting like children.
C... The only truck that I saw at TruckFest that was even close to Dimitri was the Smitty Racing truck.... Correct me if I'm wrong but even when it's 1 second diffence... Almost doesn't count.
I feel as though Adams County Sled Pull, The military appreciation and dyno day, and TruckFest all went extremely well, except for the rain. (Someone said eliminations should start before 4:00, I agree but theres too many TRUCKS!!!!!) And I didn't get to see anyone rock crawl... (and didn't hear from anyone how it went). Too me everyone got what they came for, some good competition and some good old fashioned fun! That= Success!:thumb:

It would go a lot faster if they didn't do Semi's and werent they running quads as well? Otherwise the rain sucked, but the event was good.

Yes... Semis and quads... The plus side and the down side to Truckfest... They incorporate all ends of the 4x4 spectrum, but those semi's other than looking really sweet... Kinda suck cause they go so sllloooooowwww

I have been around pulling for a long time and I take it you have never been in a sled before. There is over rides and speed controls in the cab of a sled like that. Just b/c there is no brake lights on does not mean something else is changed.

So what over-ride was used in this case? Tell me, what was done different IN the cab of the sled by the operator...;)

We did not have any trucks there. I am all for close competition but in a fair way. I am simply stating that some of those trucks where a mere 600 area hp truck. 600hp in Indiana Ohio area is a 2.6 truck and even then 600 wont get you in the top 25 at scheids event. I am not routing for scheid in any which way I am not taking any sides at all. Once again Sorry for stating an opinion of what I was seeing. Take a look at all these videos put them up on your big screen and slow them down frame by frame. The box was done in its progression by about the 285-290 area on the first place truck in this class and she ended up caring it out. Which is very impressive. The thing that gets me is you can slow it down frame by frame and many times once the Box was done on its progression fwd the truck was done in its tracks but the box is done in fwd progression at different points of the track. If you crank up the surround sound you can hear the pans air drop out at different points as well.

Take a look at the time the tires start moving till the time they hit the 100'ft mark. 90 percent of the time the fastest truck to 100' will win the pull.

Sorry for stating an opionion on a open forum!

Hey dude, thats what forums are for...opinions and questions. Otherwise there would be nothing to talk about ;)

I guess either my surround sound doesnt work quite like yours, or maybe I just dont know what I am listening for. It also might be because there is no bag on the sled to bring the pan up or down. The only way to raise it up is to put it in "Haul Mode" which brings the pan up really high...it would be obvious, and the pan would never touch the ground.

As for the weight box, that starts moving when the rear wheels on the sled start to move. The sled operator has no way of sending faster, slower, sooner...

I know that next time you are out, they would be happy to let you in the cab and go for a ride. That way you can see for yourself there is nothing the sled operator can do to "cheat".

I hope that this can kind of lay some of the accusations here to rest, the whole event was in the name of competition, not rigged competition. Its not very much fun if you cant win on your own...then its not a sport, its just tugging 60,000 lbs down a strip of dirt.
