T-case shift motor works wale off truck but not on truck.might be going out but don't think that is my problem.

I would think the gremlin is somewhere between the 4wd shifter/knob and the transfer case. It sounds like youve done everything i know to do, my next step would be to start at the 4wd controller and trace the wires to the transfer case and look for shorts in wires and burnt rivers in any board between. OK. Get this, I started the truck in neutral and got a mph of 20 on the dash so I looked under the truck and the tail shaft was spinning then I put into drive and it stopped. If i put it back into neutral whale running it wont spin. It only spins on start ups in neutral. WTF
one more thing i didn't tell is that if its running in neutral and you go to r , the r on the gear selector starts blinking and the movement in the out put shaft stops as well.

up date. got a tech2 hooked up and commanded all the gears. it goes into into all gears except 1 and 2. when commanding 1 and 2 it wants to go in but jumps back out to neutral.
should i ohm out the shift solenoid's? when i command them with the truck off i can hear them clicking but im thinking that doesnt mean they work.

I can get 3rd and reverse just not 1st and 2nd. But i will unplug the harness and see what happens
I did not clock it. I used the key it came with to install it and according to the tech2 its working.
