Truck stops moving? P0700 code?

The 3 codes the truck is throwing is the following:

TCM P0659
TCM P2671
TCM P0708


When I disconnected the connector at the back of the trans while the truck was off, the truck wouldn't turn back on with the plug not connected.

While the truck was running I than disconnected the connector and put it in drive, when in drive the truck would only go in reverse, put it in nuetral and it would go into reverse as well.

This is not normal. It sounds like you might have a wiring issue of some kind you need to look at. This would be in addition to whatever is wrong with the transmission physically.

Unfortunately, there is something mechanically wrong with the transmission. I have moved my truck with the transmission wiring disconnected before, so I can personally vouch that it will give you 3rd gear and reverse without the wiring. Since you don't get 3rd, something is wrong that will most likely require dissassembly

okay i started the truck this morning put it in drive still the same thing. i reset the trans and it gave me 3rd gear. i was able to drive it around the yard im guessing in limp mode? im getting a little stumped here.
