Im not sure if this is a good section or not, but I do have one trans code. I was driving home from work and on the highway it almost felt like the TC was locking and unlocking, and when I finally got off and was going to make a turn the abs, brake light came on and said range shift inhibited and wouldn't move, so I put it in park then back to drive and go about 100feet and it just dies. When it dies it feels like it is sputtering real bad like it is out of fuel, which it isn't. So I get to where I can pull over and check the codes and heres what it had right after it died C0055, P0880, C0245, and U1000. after I cleared those I limped it home having to go from park to drive everytime the range shift inhibited message would come up. Does anybody know what could cause this and why it is shutting off? Thanks

You have some grounding issues. Sorry to say. It will take awhile to sort out and be a pain in the ass. The p0880 says the TCM went offline, the C0245 says your ABS module went offline, C0055 is a loss of communication with rear wheel speed sensor and U1000 is just saying one of the modules did not respond.

I would start with the ground under the drivers door. polish that thing up and make sure you get a good connection. Theres also one behind the bumper screwed into the mount for the radiator support. You could also check the grounds to the block on the passenger side. THese can sometimes cause issues with the FICM and cause the truck to die.

Good luck, I feel sorry for you. I am battling electrical gremlins on both of our LB7s right now. With New LMLs in the mid 30k range right now I'm thinking about dumping them both. Our LML is at 90k and has been flawless.

Thanks man, yea I figured it was going to be a electrical problem and I hate electrical stuff like this, Let the fun begin I guess haha. When I put the 475 over stock kit on, I left the ground wires behind the second turbo mount on the block, so maybe its one of those hopefully.

We'll just so I don't leave the thread useless. I found the problem, it was my grounds on the pass of the block, guess I didn't get them tight enough when I installed the 2nd turbo mount. Thanks durallymax for the help :thumb:
