Not sure how you were going to fix reluctor but it will not slide on and off the crank with the reluctor intact. It doesn't have clearance from the upper oil pan. Have to put the bolts in while it is installed.

Gonna leave it installed, following essentially the exact thread that "Schwinn" did. Assuming when I get it removed the Reluctor Ring/Exciter Ring is still in good condition, I'll simply install the new bolts on the ring, tighten them and reassemble the front cover. No need to remove the Reluctor Assembly as far as I can tell.

Also just phoned my good friend in Parts at the GM Dealership and he gave me specs for the bolts on the Reluctor. I couldn't find the Bolt Specs anywhere through my internet search.

3x Reluctor Bolts are - M6-1.0 x 10mm Socket Head 5mm Allen Bolts.

I personally used Grade 12 Bolts since that's what I had on hand

Unusual question to ask also but considering everyone has been really helpful thought I would ask. The night the truck quit, I was towing my 35' Gooseneck with my Pull Truck on it, around 11,500#. Coolant Temps seemed to me to be riding a little higher then usual, occasionally running up to 230* but averaging around 205*. Normally, I only see around 195* or 200*. Could Poor Balance Rates and other Reluctor Wheel issues be causing the extreme heat?

Quick Question for Everyone. Took the truck apart at night, in a little too big of a hurry. Cannot remember what goes in these two holes. They are just above the Front Cover on each side and beside the Fill Neck for the Engine.

The attached picture shows the open bolt holes. Above the Front Cover and it is almost blocked on the right by the Coolant Pipe going to the Water Pump. Any ideas??

Are those bolt holes for the cp3?

02 CCSB efi live,head studs, S&B intake, 4" straight pipe to 5"

Yes they were the CP3 bolts, which I somehow misplaced! Ended up stealing them out of my spare engine!

Just an update for anyone interested. Finished up with the engine fix. Put the radiator back in and reassembled everything, put coolant in and ended up leaking out of the Water Pump to Oil Cooler Pipe. What a pain in the ass that O-Ring on the Oil Cooler side is to change.

Long story short, fixed all the leaks and checked fluids and got the truck started and running, Balance Rates have never been so good (0.2 - 1.1) and truck seems to run smoother and with more power then before!

 Thanks again for all the help in this thread. Happy Burnouts!
