LB7: truck has died twice now......

This is wierd..... I was coasting into town the other day and it just died. Coasted over to the side of the road, put it in park, started right up and not another problem till yesterday. Same deal, kicked off the cruise and coasting down an off ramp and it died. I did happen to notice this time the tach was bouncing around while it was dying...... Has anyone else had this problem? I just changed the fuel filter when i did the oil less than 1000 miles ago.

You guessed it... Edge Juice w/Attitude. What issues, and is there a fix for it? I was afraid that would be the problem..

the permanent fix would be sell the edge

Yep, that's why I went to EFIlive. My 03 was notorious for shutting down with the Edge. Buy EFI (or a PPE), some gauges and be done with it.

I have an 05 and i also have the edge with attitude and when ever i put it one level 5 it would lose all power and the rpms would not go over 2100 and then it started doing it on all levels but level 1.

That is prolly the FPRV. LLY's are bad about that. They don't like extra fuel, with out a shim

I have only noticed it shut off on level 2. I usually don't use anything but level 1. I got this J w/A for $300 so I thought it was a good deal rather than buying the gauges and everything. Plus, I don't really have the $$ to do anything else. So far I have read here that the sutting down problem was caused by low fuel rail pressure, but that was on an LLY, correct? I have an LB7, so why does mine shut down? Any ideas?
