in the buckeye state
besides kyle micheal this was his 06 setup
http://www.crankitupdiesel.com/climax.htm
The engine is equiped with 3 cp3 high pressure bosch common rail pumps to supply enough fuel to keep the rail pressure up. Climax runs 2 turbos in a compound setup. The small charger(manifold) is an ATS Aurora 5000 and the big charger(atmosphere) doesn't have a name, just big.

who else has something similar to this??? not talking about the new stuff from PDR either ;)

3 cp3 is shit ton of fuel :D

man just one cp3.4 is ridiculous

Exactly!!! 1 is rediculous, 2 is fawkin stupid! Then ill never run low on fuel or psi!

You gotta understand my mentality, I like everything in "overkill" form!

EXAMPLE:
If any of ya mess with R/C cars, I have a Revo 2.5 that got a new powerplant! It now has a Collari .30 (ci) on it! That is a very nasty italian build race motor! Ya gotta feather the throttle all of 1st gear and till it hits 2nd or it will backflip!

Th original motor was a .15 so its double size! OK its .30 cubic inch! thats tiny right? Well it produces 3.5+ HP @ 36,000RPM

I Like my shit CRAZZZZZZY!:D

im sure you can run low on fuel pretty quick, probably run your fuel tank dry in a minute:rofl:

 YA

(inspecting fuel filter):
"Hey man whats all this hard black crap in the filter?"

"Oh no biggie, that just bits of plastic fuel tank from the twin CP3.4's suckin the tank dry, imploding it, and colapsing the fuel lines":rofl::rofl:

So is Climax a Modified Class puller? He dosnt have the bad Mod class type wheels and tires.

Are there any other Mod Class D-maxes or any for that matter? We need some!

Didn't Merchant mention running triple CP3s on his??? Any discussions I've heard about running three utilizes the spot where the AC pump is. There is a bracket with a pulley made for that spot when AC isn't even on the truck. I've seen them on pulling trucks and race trucks that are purpose built and no longer have a need for AC. I don't reckon that bracket would be used when putting the third CP3 there though. Just a little FYI for yall. :D

I think I'd try to go dual CP3.4s before I went triple CP3.3s.

Heres a whole mess of CP3 chat
http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4929&highlight=CP3.4

I like to entertain the idea of building a twin CP3.4 drive system and be done with it! Ind Inj. claims there super CP3 (CP3.4) flows 230% more than a stock CP3! So dual 3.4's should be more than enough and you can still use modded regulators too! They also use engine ol lubrication but that isn't a problem! :D
