LLY: Triple CP3 controller run 2 pumps???

[IOWA LLY]

I’m supposed to be running on the engine dyno tomorrow. Thought I had a dual fueler controller but all I have on the shelf is a triple CP3 controller I bought from Fingers a few years ago.

Can I run 2 pumps with it instead of 3 and just leave one unplugged?

If not, can I just plug a dummy regulator into the 3rd pigtail?

To be safe, you can plug a spare/old regulator into the 3rd output. It won't hurt anything, besides maybe making a buzzing noise :thumb:

Eddyville Iowa. My cousin owns an engine dyno. Been dynoing tractor engines for several years but I’m finally getting around to getting him setup with everything needed to dyno Duramax engines. I’m starting with LLY stuff because that’s what I have to test with. But should be setup to dyno LB7-LMM soon.

You can leave one of the slave regulators unplugged with no issue.

Had a good fist day. By the time we got all the plumbing and wiring done we only had time to make some baseline runs.

Tomorrow we’ll make some tuning changes to see if there’s anything left in the current setup. Next week my new injectors should be here.

No. Old Columbus Diesel HX60 with slots. 2.6 bushing ahead of the wheel. Fit my local rules back in 2011 and 2012 for 2.6.
