You do nice work. :thumb:

My truck needs rockers and cab corners badly. Where did you buy yours at?

The rockers came off of AMAZON, cab corners I got locally here in Flint at AutoBody Complete.

Not sure if you ever get over this way, but they are on the corner of Richfield and Western roads.

They sell the rockers too, I just had Amazon gift cards to burn up.

I was told, by a highly respected body shop, to buy aftermarket rockers for these trucks because the thickness is better than GM. That was for my 2003.

Some of them are, not all. But the few I actually looked at (held in my hand) were heavier gauge than OEM.

OEM is .032" IIRC, the ones I put on are .060".

They offer a couple of different styles of replacements. "Slip overs", full replacements, 3/4 replacements. Hell, I've even seen stainless steel and plastic ones. I guess they use panel bond on those, obviously.

Some states apparently won't pass a truck's annual inspection, if it has rust holes? So the aftermarket is getting creative on helping people pass inspections.

Not an issue in Michigan.

Well the old girl is done. Tomorrow she is heading to her new home on a farm in south western New York. Had to take a picture of her next to her sexy younger sister, before she left.

You sold the Denali you just built?

No. My Denali was built to replace my 2003 LB7 - Z.

I rebuilt the 2003 and sold it.

Sold it to a close family friend that has a farm in south west New York.

It has a rebuilt Michigan title from 2008 (when I originally built it).

New York does not recognize that, so it had to be reinspected again there.

It had a 12:30 appointment today and passed with flying colors.

And THIS boys and girls is why we can't have nice things!

People we sold the LB7-Z to, rear ended another driver. Due to it's age and mileage, they most likely will total it.

They're fighting with the insurance company now, they want it fixed. We all know how that's gonna turn out.

I told them to get me the buy back number, I'll run out with the GN and bring the old girl home, where she belongs.

After all, how many 2003 LBZ trucks that were tune by Rob, are there actually running around out there? This thing is a freaking unicorn!

Wow! Up here in my part of Canada a second total loss is salvage only. Vehicles can only be rebuilt once. Good luck!

Sorry to see this happen to a nice looking truck.

Here is your other brother of a 2003 LB7/LBZ , Idaho Rob tuned truck. I bought this brand new and it has 230,000 miles on the rust free body. I put the LBZ in at 115,000.
