Does anyone know of a reputable builder in Alaska for the Allison's? I'd love to get mine done, but its not cost effective to have it freight shipped to the lower 48 and back. I thought about doing it myself in the garage this winter, but I'm not an experienced Trans Builder. Thanks if anyone has anything on this!

Where in AK are you located? There's talk on some of the off road forums of a guy in anchorage Devon the transmission guy, supposed to do good work, couple people talk highly of him.
I got lucky and got a kit from Evan at limitless diesel, and a used to be local forum member build mine, most the shops I talked to in Fairbanks only wanted to do stock or not even talk about it.
