I have built a handful now with success. I had a lot of help in the beginning from Evan help fix a previous built trans so I learned off That. I recommend buying a kit from a vendor on here such as Evan. The tech support is there. Mike L is also a great help and very straight forward and to the point.

suncoast must be the one then. I wanna learn just so I can be proud of my own build. I dont wanna be the guy that says "I pay my bills with a wrench" because really I just wanna dive into the snake pit and learn how my alli ticks and the correct way to build them. I know its an expensive gamble but Im determined to try it.

ATSG manual has a lot of useful exploded pictures and specs.. Definitely recommended.

I will be doing mine when it comes time to do it.

Suncoast kits come with trans go parts.

He used billet shafts and hub.

There's quite a few tricks to one to make it hold extreme power. Sun coast kits are very nice and well detailed kits. Pick one up from suncoast direct or Evan then you have great tech support along with a great product.

I just ordered a kit from suncoast yesterday. Will be here tomorrow. From what I've heard raybestos are holding up well so that what I went with. First go around I had someone build mine now I figured I'd better learn how. Is what I've done is just researched researched and researched some more before tearing into one and pay attention to every part inside.
