Is anyone else experiencing a whining noise when their truck is in 4 wheel drive? Ive had me '13 in 4 wheel drive for the first extended time due to snow. I really notice it when coasting.

i hear it too also only when coasting, i figured it was normal since mine did it before and after i did the pump upgrade and everything looked great inside. i also use Mobil1 5w/30 synthetic engine oil instead of ATF and the noise never changed.

Yup i hear it as well... I accidentally left it in 4hi once, and I heard the whine and I thought my trans was taking a dump on me... then I realized what it was. At the next red light I put it back into 2wd and it went away.
My 07 was doing it for months and would get louder with tc lock up. Then I towed a 30ft trailer from Florida to Ohio up i77. When i got to Ohio the noise increased and I found a metallic fluid coming out of the front drive shaft seal.

Whining in 2wd is a much worse thing than the truck whining in 4wd.
