Transfer case shedding metal!!!!

Drain plug on my tcase. It's been getting more and more hairy and now there are two chunks of with a friction washer or syncro I guess.

Can anyone identify the two pieces of metal???

they look like money to me lol. i think its time to tear that down before it locks up and really does some damage

FYI, I had about 1/3 of a snap ring that broke and fell into the bottom of the t-case. $2.50 part that could have cause a lot of damage! Luckily, the other 2/3 was still intact and in place so nothing moved out of place.
